Au Revoir Jeremie

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Au Revoir Jeremie

Post by Basil is a Gooner »

Well Jeremie has gone to Middlesborough as predicted. Good luck mate, hope you do well. Wonder how much the "undisclosed fee" was?
At least we no longer have to put up with Jamie Redknapp calling him Aliadieidiere (or something like that) :D

Yeah, all the best pal.

I never rated Jeremie (thus my constant use of "Aliadi-useless"). But he tried and he was an honest player, I don't think he was cut out for the Prem. Maybe he would have faired better in Spain.

Anyway, I wish him well, but I won't miss him as a player.

What's the bets he scores a winner against us at some stage next season...?

is it not the arsenal way to let an ex player score a winner against us when we've outplayed their new team for 89 minutes though?

The boy clearly got plenty of talent and as long as he stays injury free he could do really well for Boro. He was under too much pressure at Arsenal where he knew he had to do something exceptional every time he got a chance to play or he'd be out of the team as soon as any of the other strikers were available. Good luck to him.
