THE MIDDLESEX SWAMP DWELLERS AWAY THREAD

Mason should have been given a yellow with his challenge on Ozil. Not giving it then carding our players quickly after for innocuous challenges just allowed them to get in our faces more. And he'd have got a second yellow in for blocking the FK.

Not saying that's the cause of our defeat but it certainly contributed to it!

Agreed. As awful as we were it was borderline cheating by the ref at times. Couldn't wait to chuck cards at our players and let some of them get away with loads, Mason especially but also that dreadful tackle on Giroud by Rose.

this.

akb or wob, we've all known all season that we need TWO quality CDM's. one doesn't cut it.

i'll also repeat what i've said all season - together, kos and per are not good enough. not enough pace, careless, leave their men and get caught out of position. one of them could play alongside a quality CB and get by - and be bailed out. but one of therm makes a mistake every single game

The love fest on BT today about all things Scum related was ridiculous. From Leo Kane to the Berna Swamp Lane being missed because it has fantastic atmosphere and Arrigo Pochecnuto :banghead:

It improved a bit when Rosicky came on but after being played off the park for 70 minutes with all the momentum against us it was too late.

How can he have been sitting there after 50, 55, 60, 65 mins thinking that there is literally nothing that needs changing.
You could have started in the 20th minute. Wenger out. We beat Leicester, Boro, Palace & Monaco.....all is just good enough. Rinse. Repeat

Wellbeck was poor ...thomas should have been on from the start. .

wenger hasn't a clue. .everyone could see the gap left for rose to exploit which he did...wenger chose to do nothing about it. .*word censored*... :cussing:
