Although his albums usually get better with each listen,you get right into this one from the get-go.
There's a track with a "Cars" bass line,and another like "The Crunge" from "Houses of the Holy."
"One Year" sounds like it could/should of been on "Saturns Pattern," and the stand out track for me,after the first listen,is "Satellite Kid."

The Jam were my favourite group and I followed them religiously (here's your chance DB!!). I liked a lot of the Style Council stuff but there was some shit wrapped up in it. I saw his solo comeback in B'ham and I liked a lot of his early solo stuff, but for me he gradually got more and more self-indulgent and the music got more boring to listen to. I'll check out the new album, but I think he should have retired 10 years ago.
