Ah yes, what a side we had....Merson, Vieira, Henry and, of course, me playing the Bergkamp role. Always found it easy to score against Leicester, especially when Gordon Banks was in goal for them.

As for brogues, only ever wore them when playing on a Sunday, when I'd also be sure to wear a jacket and tie too. Standards and all that.

On Saturday afternoons, these are the boots I wore and they never let me down. Ahhh, the good ol' days.

As for the game today, who knows? Interested to see if we really are making progress. If we are, then there's no excuse for not winning reasonably comfortably, say 2-0.
