I wonder what the feeling was like before the game around the first double winning sides trip to the dump,I wonder if Arsenal fans back then were dreading the game as there was even bigger connotations to it,I woke up about 5.45 this morning when the game pinged into my head, fuck knows how bad I’d have been if this was a title decider
Did you wake up early just so you could hate them for a little bit longer today ?

I’d ask my old man,he would have been just 21 in ‘71 but he’s losing his marbles and don’t even remember his kids or grandkids names
Robbo mate sorry to hear about your dad. I wish him all the best. Hopefully we get a win today for him. 8)

Ah thanks mate,he’s asked me to take him back up where he grew up so hopefully he’ll remember is youth a bit,he literally grew up in Sussex way estate in Holloway/Tufnell park, and went over the Arsenal for years, before and after I was born,he took me to my first game v Bristol city in I think 78? I’ll take him back to the Marble Halls and the emirates but probably end up with 200 fines,it’ll be great to call him later and tell him his boys have beat the scum, :barscarf:

Incredible....estimated over 150,000 locked outside (1971) old bill estimate, pitch invaded and fans cutting up the pitch :D

after that we ruled scum at the shithole for several years, used to get down there at midday :D

all changed now of course, literally walk the gauntlet...even kids and women getting abused....absolute low life scum

Both Martinelli and Saka will get kicked to fuck in this; nothing new about that I know, but Romero and Hojbjerg are two of the dirtiest cun.ts in the prem... That coupled with the prems two Biggest Diving CheatingCUNTS in Pot Poodle and Fat-TonguedCUNT... is going to test our players mettle.
