I have extreme views on America. I think we have a lot to thank them for and equally as much to blame them about in this world. I think 'team america' summed up what they are all about now.

Thats your view of USA, but i'm ready to day for this stars and stripes, any time, any day, and anywhere. For me they are peace keapers, and the price for peace is high your picture explains a lot.

Many Germans considered themselves peace keepers when they invaded eastern Europe, however they weren't really the best ones to judge, were they?

Save the "Hooo-RAH! love it or leave it" sloganeering for some other forum, I have no idea why this is being discussed here and it will inevitably get a response you won't much like.

Peacekeepers? Is that the eternal peace variety??

How many was it in Vietnam? 3 million men women and children? What peace have they brought to Iraq? For every fundamentalist killed the foreign policy of USA makes 2 more.

I'm not anti-American. I have lived and worked there and enjoyed the culture. The hawkish stance of various of their administrations, however, is shameful. The picture of the American soldiers' coffins is a distressing reminder of how they will sacrifice young men, predominantly from the lower socio-economic communities in legally dubious wars.
