Seeding for champions league

Post by Ben-gooner14 »

Uefa say they do it on a points system, but as arsenal got knocked out in the second round how can they be above chelsea and man u who both got to the semis. So I thought does it mean the points they got in the league but that still dosn't add up because arsenal finished 4th below chelsea and man u, man u finished the season 15 points above arsenal though.

Maybe it's accumulated points based on CL performance over a number of years?

That would put us well above chav$ki and above ManUre too.

Probably. Maybe. :?

It's not about your league positioning, it's about how well you're doing in the champions league in the last 10 years (something like that).
Liverpool won the champions league and got to the final in three seasons, so they're first, we've got to the final, so we are second, Manure didn't got to the knockout stage 2 seasons ago and Chelsea don't have any history, so they are third and fourth.
