Gary Neville

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't have anything against Redknapp!

How anyone can prefer the mutant spawn rat child over him is incredible to me!

Never liked Neville as a player for his dirtiness but will see how it goes as a pundit.

Talks sense here though.
Come off it mate. That article by Neville is full of the same tired old bullshit.

"Only Wenger could create such a great team with so little money"
A wage bill of well over £100million a year?? That is not so little money in anyone's language!

"if you're asking me if he should rush in a panic and spend £30m, I would say not"
FFS nobody is asking Wenger to spend £30 million on 1 player!

"the most important thing is that you have a tradition running through your club that identifies your values"
This one's priceless. Arsenal lost all of those old values when they got rid of the old badge, moved out of Highbury and decided to fleece fans for every penny they can get.

Neville is just another ordinary bloke that has become very, very rich through playing football - they live in a bubble and don't have a clue what it's like to spend fortunes watching your club.

When you are Arsenal and Gary Neville is speaking positively about you, you know you're in trouble.

Next we'll get Teddy Sheringham telling us Wenger is the best man for the job.
