so, using this thread for it's intended purpose...

what car does everyone drive, if any? I moved out of town in November (well to the edge of london, sutton to be precise) and as I was living in St Pancras for many years before (with mum & family, longgggg story) I didn't have a need for a car. As I work about 10 miles away in Bromley I've decided I may as well get a motor as I'm currently paying just over £200 for an all-zones travelcard and I may as well put that money to use on a decent car rather than pissing it into the wind and lining the pockets of those *word censored* at TFL

looking at a merc possibly, will be leasing but £15k is the upper echilions of my limit.

Mrs Skizz's dad is a mechanic and does the whole "get a cheap car, run it into the ground and buy another" thing but I've done the whole driving round in an S-reg Citroen Saxo...was not enjoyable. well it did the job but if i'm going to spend money may as well get something I want no?
