We're bound to have the Mickeys away somewhere near the start of the season and one of the newly promoted teams at home.

Some false hope for 8 games or so before Chelsea start the October / November rot and the title disappears for another year

A nice easy start for our new signings from ligue 1 to show their "class" like Giroud against Sunderland

Not to mention this wonderfully executed finish at Anfield after the Great Abou (man of the match) split the defence yet again.

Just watch his technique and body position in the replay - truly fucking awful and an early warning sign that he'd never be good enough.......he still isn't. Same lack of ability in the home game against Chelsea where he could have rescued a point too

He shanks with his left......he shanks with his riiiiiiiiiiight........Olly Le Chapman.......he is proper shite

I dont think his heading is all that good either.

On topic: I would like to see us have a tough start. Utd at home would be good. Basically Utd, Citeh, Chavski, Spurs.

The only way I can see us beating Utd is if its on the first couple weeks so that we can take advantage of lack of sharpness.

But just imagine the pressure on Wenger if we found ourselves bottom after four games with no wins. Then a glorious win at home to palace would put everything right again

Don't be so negative, there's loads of ways we can beat ManUre:
after they have FA cup replays and we're already out,
after tough CL games (when we're already out).
After they've already won the league and we need the win to pip Sperz
Howard Webb getting the two sides muddled up after a hard night on the hallucinogens
vanStaplec*nt getting injured and our handsomeFrenchman finding out their past it centrebacks

Those November stats are pretty depressing.
Now can't work out whether we should want to play good or bad teams in Nov...

I've heard, on good authority, that we'll be playing Everton at home for the first game of the season!

are the fixtures pre-arranged? Isn't there an Arsenal website that has correctly 'guessed' several times?
