RIP Kirk Krekorian. Billionaire builder of Vegas largest hotels. The International in the late '60's, now the Hilton. Owned MGM 3 times and built 2 MGM Grand hotels on the Vegas strip. Signed Elvis to perform live in 1969 at The International. He also tried to buy Chrysler. Died on Monday aged 98. Thought he died years ago.
