Can't help him knowing that he won't get on the pitch until 75 mins is on the clock. We should sell him if we can't play him properly, it's not fair to anyone.

I remember watching an interview with Mark Chamberlain who said that when he was a youngster one of the Ox's main strengths was his ability to drop a shoulder & beat a man, he then went on to say that the club were working more on his ability to pass the ball as that wasn't the Arsenal way.

I always felt he showed far more potential than Wally as he appeared to have a 'football brain', a couple of seasons ago he could come on & influence a game, sadly he now just looks lost :banghead:

Power and pace. It should be a lethal combination. He had a decent shot on him too from time to time :(

Such a shame we don't play like that anymore. Taking on opposition and beating them, playing right though them, getting in behind them, even having more then a couple of shots on goal. Now we're stick with this turgid, cowardly tippy-tappy shite in front of parked buses and rarely giving the opposition keeper anything to do.

All that while knowing you will only come on after 70 minutes to save money due to 'frugal clause'.

It's getting curiouser and curiouser said Alice.

Arguably the worst replacement since Giroud for van Persie.

And Kevin Campbell was just a squad player.

Surely this frugal clause has an expiry after a certain number of games? Or did we fuck up the deal?

Either way, it makes TOF or the club look like cheap bastards for trying to duck out on paying for a player. Just a shame that said player has gone backwards.

Oh for a bit of directness in our play these days :D

You'd never see them mixing home and away kits like that these days either. Maybe Ivan should propose it, might sell a few more shirts. :rubchin: :D

When asked about rumours of chamberlain's transfer to chelski, Wenger sniggered and said no. Was he laughing at chamberlain is in such poor form that not even chelski are desperate or that he will never do business with them again?

Lets see how many "ball stuck feet" moments he has today.

Really sad to see how he stagnated.2 years ago he looked like Stevie G clone.

DId he have a better game today from central midfield?

I sure hope so, because it sounds like Campbell did pretty well again. In the battle of who gets some minutes when Sanchez isn't on the pitch.

Did much better, overall Ok.Put on a wily smile today.

Thrilling to see him blast pass players that's his forte -bring the fans to their feet.

Of course he has a great shot -hit post with a powerful curler.

Outside of foot pass for 3rd goal was good, more please. No need to run with ball 100% of the time, vary it.

Very few silly episodes today.

Was quite a lot better than he has been and was involved in a few good pieces of play including his good effort which hit the post.

Still thought he was very average overall though bearing in mind the quality of the opposition. He just doesn't seem capable of making the right decision in/around the box and thought Campbell looked more threatening than him again.
