Stories you can/can't comment on.

Maybe someone here who works in da meedja can explian this.

Some stories have a comment section and some just don't why and when does the editor or writter choose to have / not have them. it seems the stronger the subject matter the less likely it is to have a comments section, feels a bit like censorship in a way.

I've often felt like making a comment on various newspaper "feedback" thingies.

Particularly when I see an absolute cuntish comment.

The problem is that you often need to register. And give personal information. Like your email address. Bollocks to that. You are just inviting an endless stream of spam.

I always thought that comments were not allowed in court cases or stories that could lead to defamation. I would imagine the editor protects the publication first..Was registered on the Daily Mail for a while...got loads of abuse from Stoke City fans for offering an opinion on them and their abuse of Aaron Ramsey..

I cant listen to LBC as I just get stressed out and want to kill people after listening to it :twisted:
I cant watch tense TV like casualty .
