another goal for walnut, seriously how can anybody doubt him when he keeps on scoring,id take him all day long over somebody like santi who scores never, also the Ox looked totally pissed off being taken off, this having to pay Southampton if he plays over X amount of minutes is a piss take now,how is he supposed to kick on knowing he will never play 90 mins, its beyond a joke and is clearly getting him down,

Good performance to show patience and keep pressing after going 1-0 down. Thought everyone was solid, no one was excellent.

No Ramsey? Victory.

Sad to lose Mustafi for 3 weeks during the busiest part of the schedule though. Things could get dicey having to depend on Gabriel and/or Holding there.

Nice to to record our annual victory against those pricks. Seems like we kept our composure after going 1-0 down.

Does anybody agree with Wenger that it wasn't a pen? Absolutely stonewall for me.

Gabriel did ok in the middle today. Playing time helps.
Not surprisingly no mention of Adam stamping on Alexis whilst Iwobi was scoring.

Cech has faced 12 penalties in the premier league since 2011/12 season and hasn't saved any of them

Scoring for fun at the moment. Top scorers in the league, and going at over 2.4 goals per game. Even when Sanchez doesnt score, Thep steps up gets another goal. Thats 7 for Theo, equal with Sadio Mane and 1 behind Hazard. Ozil gets a goal, and is now adding goals to his game (best number 10 in the world) in addition to assists.

This is the most balance team since 03-04. Cech, Bellerin, Kosicleny, Mustafi, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Walcott, Iwobi/Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez.

The great keeper and top class back 4. The strengh, quality and aggression in midfield. Neither Coquelin or Xhaka are push overs and both love tackling and defending. Like Gilberto-Vieira, its a midfield pairing that is geared more toward strength and power, more than passing finesse such a parings like Song-Fabregas, or Cazorla-Arteta. I like Iwobi, Chamberlain and Walcott's absolute pace on the wings. Theo is the pick of the bunch, due to his capacity to find the net. But its good to see Iwobi score, whilst Chamberlain also contributed in recent times (cross to Giroud) and getting on the score-sheet against West Ham. Then you have the diamonds, two players worthy of being compared to the Bergkamp and Henry. Ozil and Sanchez well and truly are the new Bergkamp-Henry pairing.

If Wenger sticks to this line up, we have a great chance to win the league. The season is getting older, and Man City may have been the first team to splinter and show signs they wont be up to it. Silly to count them out. But I think its going to be between us, Liverpool and Chelsea. City are not as good as they think they are, and their own belief in their greatness, has blinded them to the fact their defence is genuine mid table quality, with a dodgy keeper infront of it.

Good win. Started far too slow but picked up and got the win. A few years ago we'd have gone one down and bottled the game so it's nice to see a bit of drive and confidence in this side.

On we go.

When it comes to saving penalties, his record is about as impressive as Gunnersaurus.

Last three homes league games - Tottenham, Bournemouth and Stoke. Conceded a penalty in every match.

Hang on a minute, we conceded a penalty against Sunderland as well in the 4-1 away win. We have conceded a penalty in 4 league matches out of the last 6!!

West Ham goal against us was Carrol's header after Payet hit the bar of the free kick. Only the Mata goal against us come from open play since the 3-2 against Swansea back in mid October. We could have also conceded a penalty at Old Trafford after Monreal.'s challenge on Valencia.

Its simple really, stop giving away penalties. Our defence has been pretty good this year, aside from giving away penalties. Stop giving away penalties, and goals against us will became a rarity.

This is why I think we can genuinely win the league. Because we are pretty tight at the back, Kos- Mustafi are an excellent pairing, whilst Monreal and Bellerin are the best wing back pairing in the league, with Bellerin hands down the best full back in the league. Plus we are scoring frequently at the other end. All wenger has to do, is keep picking the same team. Cech in goal, back 4 pickets itself. Coquelin next to Xhaka, Iwobi, Chamberlain, Theo rotating on the wings, with Welbeck to join them when back form injury. Sanchez upfront with Ozil in the hole. Use Giroud as a plan B, resist the urge to fit Ramsey into the team. Inso far this is what Wenger has done. And should be stick to it, I see no reason why we couldnt nip Chelsea and Liverpool.

The danger is when Wenger tinkers. Why cant the old man just do himself a favour and not fuk around with what is clearly working? We havent lost since the opening day, and the time when we almost did lose was when he played Ramsey on the right against Man United.

A good win yesterday always good to beat that lot, a couple of things still niggle though....

How can a club like Stoke have fans that still sing about a player who had his leg broken by one of their players....utter disgrace
Can no one at the club stand up and say this is wrong?

Also how bad was that referee yesterday.....not talking about the penalty...just everything else....cannot remember a worse refereeing performance

Still too early to talk about a Title challenge lets see what happens in the next 2 games

Hughes was questioned about the Stokies singing about Ramsey and denied hearing anything before leaving abruptly (storming out, in sensationalist journalist speak )
