He would have been a good purchase three years ago and might have added something a bit more imaginative to the team. That would have shown some sort of ambition though and why bother doing that when you can have shit like Walcott for years?

For instance look at Monreal, he was bought as left flank mid-fielder and has had to endure NEVER EVER being played there, he comes in for a lot of stick as a back-line defender, but that is not his position...Put him in the mid-field on the left flank with a decent LB behind him and he would play a 1,000 times better..

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is lining up a move for Crystal Palace's Ivory Coast winger Wilfried Zaha, 25, to replace Chile forward Alexis Sanchez, 29.

I know it is only paper talk, but it really wouldn't surprise if Wenger thinks that Zaha is a suitable replacement for Sanchez.
