The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"Arsenal agree Onyekuru fee"

Oh please fuck off!!
The final full stop on a day the club told the fans...FUCK YOU.

Further evidence that the result of the Cup Final was highly important. He would have signed regardless, BUT, he feels vindicated, confident and powerful. He's flexing his muscles and is gonna flagrantly do whatever the fuck he wants. One very, very good performance, amid a whole sea of crap and he feels justified in "not forgetting" the disrespectful stick we gave him and now he's gonna show us who's boss.

I suspect we're about to see the mad dictator syndrome, like never before.

The Club is finished.

what I genuinely dont understand....is if Sanchez, Ozil leave (and dont forget that when they arrived we were all told we would never have to sell them) then we are going to be a LOT weaker, and with no CL football to attract any decent players there is going to be an obvious decline.

Could Wenger survive loss after loss ?
we all know he doesnt break contracts so is the way to get him out to get him sacked ?? (you know that strange thing that happens at other clubs  )

Absolutely, there were 9 losses this season in the league and he gets a new contract, no reason to suggest a few more would make any difference. You've got to remember Arsene FC is there for Wenger's own pleasure, results don't actually matter.

Well, the £50m we get for Sanchez will get us another £35m player, so that will at least be something!
I'm guessing another £35m player is on the cards as we speak. And Ozil is staying.
Plus Ramsey is super-super quality now, and BFG and Cazorla are coming back into the first team for next season.
Then a couple of kids with potential and we are all set!

Oh, and don't forget. We now have a Plan B. 3-5-2 or 4-2-3-1
Exciting times we are living in!

We love you Arsene, we do....Ooooooh, Arsene we love you.

I forgot Mahrez! What a player!

A small, jinky winger, who went missing most of last season, just what we need.
Born and raised in France, so has the surrender-monkey characteristics, and will fit right in.

We love you Arsene, we do....Ooooooh, Arsene we love you.
