So this VAR bollocks can supposedly only be used in four circumstances:

1) Goals
2) Penalty decisions
3) Straight red cards
4) Mistaken identity

Can somebody therefore explain to me why we've just had a delay for the ref waiting for somebody to check the video footage of a nothing off-the-ball tussle before a corner between Chambers and Azpilicueta before calling both players in for a pointless warning?

The biggest problem with the whole thing will be that it is used completely inconsistently.

Had to laugh when he spent ages setting up that corner and had to be told to move it into the quadrant twice by the referee before then just passing it to the first defender.

Dunno what it is but Conte just cannot set up against any shower Wenger puts up. His best team he can muster struggles against this rag tag mob of ours.

Btw has Wenger offered/insisted that he gets called up for the VAR assessments??

It's odd isn't it with Conte against us. He just can't quite seem to get the measure of us.

We've got next to no creativity, aren't holding the ball up and are consistently shaky as fuck at the back, but so far Chelsea seem quite content to let this amble along at 0-0.

Might be being pedantic but the ball doesn't have to in the quadrant but a part of it over the line, as in the actual ball does not have to touch the line.

But yes shit corner although his next one was better and mustafi should have done a lot better with a free header.
