Him and that fat kid in the crowd. There'll be more tears when they're stripped of every single fucking things they've won in the last decade.

I’m worried about Saka’s penalty
His was the worst of our 4, scuffed it with not much power either.

Vieira’s was precision, top corner, no keeper getting to that. :barscarf:

Ramsdale saved one too

I’d imagine he’s still our first choice taker for the season which frightens the shit out of me. He’s not convincing, just rolls it to one side of the keeper, relying on the keeper guessing the wrong way because if he doesn’t it’s an easy save. Give me someone who fucking smashes into one of the top corners.

Odergaard always seems to stroke them in smoothly, Trossard looks like he takes a good one too. I'd have Odergaard on them every time.

A very good result today given it was more about fitness. Atwell was really bad in not booking Rodri.

On a good note, I liked that we could and did chuck a bunch of attackers to chase the game. Optimistic on the season especially with Raya potentially coming in for competition.

In Timber, I do believe we have found a player. Considering the way the transfer market has gone this summer absolute bargain. City fans utter embarrassment, couldn't hear them apart from when they scored.

Our end was rocking, friendly or no friendly.

For some reason which bizarrely might be to do with the Fact that he missed that penalty for England in the Final against Italy, Arteta has chosen Saka as our designated Penalty Taker; if available / on the Pitch I would go with Jorginho every timed if not him then Trossard. We all know Saka is the Better player... But I agree his penalty taking is open to concern. Especially a study he was almost absent on the pitch. :?

I think RVP was the best penalty taker I can recall

Think he got lucky with 1 v the scum, straight down the middle that the keepers legs nearly got.

Lovely memory that. Absolutely lovely. Cool as the old iced cucumber. No doubt about it. I remember him also ambling up and sticking one perfectly in the top corner when we beat them in that 5-4 game at their shithole. Wasn't he also inch perfect in the 2005 FA Cup Final too?
