As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Ramsdale is not the answer. He seems like the answer because he's on the bench....once he's back between the sticks, we'll be desperately looking around for someone else.

Martinez perhaps???
Raya is terrible....even Brentford let him go....yes hes nervous but after recent performances should be dropped...remember that European game when he very nearly palmed it into his own goal...2 goals against Luton
But his spanish compatriot arteta is unlikely to do that.....hes a man for his favourites

Ramsdale is capable of the spectacular save ( Leicester free kick , Liverpool away etc) but he is absolutely capable of the blunder in passing out from the back Southampton at home last season, the other week ffs when Rice saved his blushes v Brentford.
I can’t believe the clamour to have him re-instated based on he is not Raya.
IF we end up with Tony or some such no 9 with a physical presence to win aerial duals AND hold it up, lay it off, then perhaps the playing it out from the back every single time will stop and not be such an issue with Ramsdale …..

The clamour to get him back in is because of the calamitous situation with Raya. But, there
were plenty of problems with Ramsdale before Raya turned up......in fact that is why Raya turned up. The absurdity of the situation is we started the season screaming at Arteta to buy a striker and now we need to buy a keeper ffs. Either of the two we have are now capable of costing us. And now basic, bog standard keeping from either of these two will be hailed as world class by those who support them, because the bar is now so low.
As for the game, going to be a real tester, even with a decent keeper. We cannot afford to go behind, the cacophony of support if we do, will melt us.
Keep it tight and don't let them anywhere near Raya, hopefully score a couple before HT and hope some fat brummie twat dressed as Santa doesn't hit the stand whilst parachuting.
