I think you're right but I do think the only thing that kept Wanker in a job so long was some sort of misguided loyalty/Stockholm Syndrome and Arteta doesn't have that. I have a slight hope that the board have noted how bad things got under him and in the last days of Emery and how low things sunk so might be a bit more proactive this time.

Exactly. It's ok to play the nice football out from the back but you don't have to do it every time. A few more balls over the top to someone like Martinelli would be nice to see and we might get more of a result from some of them.
