This was the sort of game we'd have gone into in recent seasons on the back of a rinsing at City, and potentially dropped points. Thankfully that isn't the case this time round, so confidence should remain high and we should be playing minus the self doubt that has normally crept in at this stage

Lets get down to facts - this lot have won a lot of neutral admirers but they are winless since the end of January. Since then they've managed to lose to Sheffield United and Bournemouth, and drop points against Forest and Palace. They've let in 62 goals, and 30 in their last 10. There's a reason for that - they really aren't very good at all! Passionate, physical, committed - certainly.....but defensively as naive as it gets and even though I expect them to score, at the other end it could be however many.

Can’t take liberties and rest too many players against this lot. After a hard earned point yesterday, we need to get back to making a statement win. As others have said, this mob are fighting for everything and making life difficult for everyone they play. An error to take them lightly.

Maybe bench one of Saka or Martinelli and give Trossard a start and maybe rest a full back, but don’t touch the centre halves and although Rice might need a rest, I’d be very nervous with Partey and Jorginho in midfield.

Get 2 or 3 in front, than make changes. Given the situation with Liverpool ahead of us and City just behind, we can’t slip up.

They’re the best of the skid mark 3 (the bar is fucking low there mind) but we should be looking at putting 3 or 4 minimum on them and be able to make all 5 subs at our leisure second half.
