New white kit might only be worn six times next year (23/5)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

New white kit might only be worn six times next year (23/5)

Post by gooner.ed »

usual thread starter... oh well, if it is red and white, at least the objectors won't have to put up with it too often. about time the club announced it officially though. why wait? oh of course - don't want to give the far eastern fakers a head start... in which case, release the damn thing now, whatever it looks like

Because it will sell ! Maybe not round Highbury - Islington- Ashburton Grove but in the outer world. It is a well known fact tht white is the best selling leisure colour in the sportswear world.

well the only people who can tell you work for arsenal or nike. and maybe the buyers for the big sports chains. all we know is that word from inside the club is that all the speculation about the shirt being predominantly white is true.

I thought that anyone competing in Europe was required to have a third kit and that is the reason for this new one. The number of times we would use it in domestic football is irrelevant.
