The Gooner - Issue 218 £2.00

Issue 218 of The Gooner from October 2011. The front cover reflects the battered and bruised face of Arsenal as we lick our wounds after the worst start to a season in living memory. There is plenty of comment in the issue about the current state of affairs, including an enthralling piece by Nadim Naaman which concludes that we have fallen foul of the most monumental mental crisis since the Carling Cup Final. Elsewhere in the issue, there is an interview with a member of the Black Scarf Movement who were behind the billboard poster opposite the stadium at the start of the season and we also have an article which recalls some of the more infamous on-field (mostly) scraps our players have got into over the years. Plus all the regulars – Talking Reds, Mickey Cannon, Anger Management, In The Away End, readers letters and a welcome guest appearance from the much missed Spy.

This product was added to our catalog on Monday 17 October, 2011.
