I would like to pretend that I'm excited by this transfer. I'm not. I'm revolted by it. Bosman transfers need to be accompanied by a 75% tax levy on wages post transfer. Then players coming to the end of their contracts would have to ensure that the selling club made something out of the transfer. This guy is a mercenary and I feel the same way about him as Chelsea fans do this morning. Not quite the same as I feel about Mezut Ozil and Arsene Wenger but I won't be cheering him on. I would much rather see our young players in the team. These young men have been with AFC from an early age and deserve our support. The Premier League revolts me in oh so many ways and I wish it and all its leeches their just deserts.
