Thomas Partey set to sign new Arsenal deal 

Gunners midfielder Partey ready to reject big money offers and sign new contract 

Talks are intensifying this week which will lead to Thomas Partey spurning lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and sign a new deal with Arsenal.

Partey is into the final two months of his deal at Emirates Stadium and has yet to agree fresh terms.

However, Partey's agent was a guest at Arsenal vs Newcastle on Sunday, with his representative and the club now pushing for a swift resolution to the long-running issue of whether the Ghanian stays or exits the Emirates. 

No agreement has been reached yet, but both sides prefer the former Atletico Madrid midfielder stays in London - with hopes high that the 31-year-old defensive midfidler will sign a new deal.

With Saudi riches awaiting, as well as Arsenal needing clarity ahead of the summer window, a deal is expected to be announced later this week.
