THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Exactly which is why I don't understand why anyone would want to spend their own hard earned cash to finance Kroenke's LA Rams move, because basically that is all you are doing!, it's not like we are going to win a major trophy anytime soon or even play entertaining football like we did in the past, why would you spend your own money to help a greedy American get richer?, when you think of it like this - which is exactly what is going on then it is madness to buy tickets etc.

:banghead:

In fact you might as well just buy tickets for the FA cup games because clearly that is the only competition, along with the tin pot B team cup, that Arsene Stanley PLC are capable of winning.

is there any depths this manipulating slag will not go to.....

"The players forget very quickly how good they are – much quicker than you think. We have to continue to believe in our strengths and not to forget.
"Our fans as well, to have a successful team, we need our fans. Our fans can say, 'OK, our squad is not good enough, we are not good enough' and think we have no chance – that will not work.
"We want our fans to be behind us in this moment as well, even if we are very sorry for what we delivered. To have a successful team we need to have that.

says Liverpool was an "accident"...now getting ready to blame the fans......what a despicable shit this person is

We extended his contract so he will be paid over 80 k per week until next season, a cool 4 million squid per year !

Great business Arsene !

So basically no matter how bad they are,buy your tickets, sit down and if you have nothing good to say, shut up. Otherwise the failures on the pitch are your fault. ...

at least there are a few more people realising this now.
I worked it out in 2012 after RVP left as he knew the club was just a con.
I know lots of people on here worked it out before then.

in the meantime thousands of gullible Arsenal fans continue to spend £1K + per season on season tickets in the hope that things might get better :banghead:

wake the fuck up - things will only get worse, the longer you keep attending

Yep, a perfect summation.....and as Redarmy says, Wenger is very, very clever. Some "Wenger Outers" bristle when I make this point, because in detesting the Fraud so much, they can't even begin to apportion anything that might seem to remotely acknowledge a "gift" that he may have. Viewed objectively, the bloke is a fucking political genius.

How the hell he dreams up some of the completely irrational, largely lunatic notions that he comes out with is beyond most of us, but sadly for us, it's worked for him for years. Forget the fact that most of us on here can see it for the nonsensical, Learesque, often contradictory bollocks that it is, the vast majority of our lobotomised fanbase can't (or won't) recognise it. They grab it with both hands and continue to worship The Master.

He is exactly like the most skilled of South American, or African dictators, spinning, lying and distorting, but convincing the masses. He knows that he can't fool all of us, but we don't matter, as long as he's got the mob. Thank your lucky stars, my dear fellow OG posters, that this nasty old fucker hasn't got the power of those dictators, because I can assure you in all seriousness, that he'd willingly have us "disappeared" if he could !!

It's insane shit really isn't it? Same as Diaby. Read somewhere Diaby received approx £27million for his near ten year rest with us - if it was even half that it would still be fucking outrageous.

I love Santi, he's a truly gifted and very intelligent footballer and we miss him badly, but he is crocked and now too old to fully recover and get back to consistent high levels of performance - he should have either been released or put on a pay as you play contract in May. :|

But have we been active in trying to replace him ?
No not at all Ramsey is now our creative fulcrum and he isn't good enough but we haven't looked to replace Santi ,so thats it now .
We could have lined up Lemar with Sanchez departure but left it too late now we are stuck with him and as others have said he will be injured a lot before now and when he leaves !

Ah yes, of course....well Sir, that's, errr, let's see....hmmm £2,250,000 per game. And I thought only Wenger was on that type of money.

Modern day Arsenal.....a reverse Robin Hood in action.

Agree totally.

Have you seen this today from SSN?

Wenger: We need fans' backing

"The players forget very quickly how good they are - much quicker than you think. We have to continue to believe in our strengths and not to forget,"
Wenger told beIN SPORTS.

Aha! So there was us thinking he's clueless and our team are shite but he now tells us that they've forgotten how good they are.
Well silly me for not realising this is the problem at Arsenal.

Actually, I read it and still find it hard to believe. Jeez!!

You have to laugh..I don't know.
