There were days I'd watch every game until the end no matter the score but not now.

10 months ago today a few hundred of us took a stand against the club. Wenger and the Board hated our protests and for the first time, he was seriously under pressure.

If only more people had joined in - we might have ended this awful f*****g nightmare
The media will undermine and ridicule any effort by the fans of Arsenal
No they won't, the newspaper absolutely love it as it gives them something to write about.
Disagree media were totally against the Arsenal fan protest, most other protests were treated with some respect....not sure about the Independent are Guardian, which most fans read i guess...

When we draw 3-3 it'll be so amusing to see how many people cheer that rather than focussing on getting rid of the reason that we keep getting humiliated- i.e. Wenger :banghead:

The media will undermine and ridicule any effort by the fans of Arsenal....did not see anything negative reported about the Hughes out banners
Agree with that mate. Media were very little help to us but at least we shone a spotlight on his failings - which had never been done before.

We need to protest again!!!!
Media were very little help because they know that the stadium is filled full of passive pricks who buy into this dictatorial notion that you can’t criticise the manager, and whose only potential contribution is singing TO1AW.

The media will take their lead from the fans. They sat and watched as Liverpool fans treated Roy Hodgson like shit, because the fans had overwhelmingly decided he wasn’t their man. They vitriolically joined in the campaign against LvG and were near-silent on the morality of sacking him two days after winning the FA Cup.

They were always reluctant to get behind it because they knew that the majority of Home match-going fans would be lukewarm on it at best, particularly after a few decent results eventually rolled around.

As a fanbase we deserve all of this.

Maybe they didn't perform because their brave gallant genius of a leader was sitting in the stand.......
