Modern Football Bol**cks

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The SlySports agenda that meant they didn't show the Kroenke plane banner yesterday. Utter hypocritical cuntbags. Jeff fucking Stelling calling Arsene "classy" and the whole Wenger love in horseshite they have peddled over the last few weeks. :censored:

As soon as the new manager loses 3 on the trot these cùnts will peddle out shit like "not so happy now huh Arsenal fans" and "should have been careful what you wished for all you Wenger haters". :censored:
I found that scandalous to be honest...their job is to report the news, not manipulate it or create it. Stelling made me hate him yesterday...ok for him to have an on air rant when his precious Hartlepool team were so appalling but we are not allowed to say a thing. What right have they got to tell us what is best for our team?

The cherry on the top was our goal.."A wonderful Arsenal move, a true Wenger goal" What does that even mean??

How come none of the kamikaze, shoot yourself in the foot, defending over the past couple of years was ever referred to as "true Wenger defending"??

The credited him with whatever little good was left and the shitloads of bad that came out of AFC, in their world, didn't exist.
That's what gets me. The love-in has totally glossed over the negatives of his reign and legacy. It's like we never went 9 years in a row of his 22 years without a trophy.
Completely agree with you both!

The trouble with football these days is that it is a product every bit as much as it is a sport. And people like Stelling are there to make us believe it is the best product that it has ever been.

They want families in the crowd kitted out in club colours. They want sell out crowds. When there are empty seats at big clubs like Arsenal, they hate it and will criticise the fans for not showing up instead of admitting that the product they are televising is shit!

Protests against people like Wenger are not good for the image Sky and the PL are trying to portray. They need heroes and they need there to be legends.

Wenger's 9 year trophy drought and the way he has dragged Arsenal down has to be glossed over so that they have a nice story to finish yet another tedious season with.

And it is the likes of Sky that have turned football into something that leeches like Stan Kroenke are attracted to. They know he is only in the game to make money and its probably a side of the game they do not want to acknowledge.

Funny how every season seems to be the greatest season ever.

This season was fucking awful. Title tied up by November, couple of shit uninspiring sides slowly dragging their way towards the drop, half the teams in the top six churning out shit football week after week and not even a beloved top four saga to cherish. Could barely even find a fucking game to cover last day of season!

Never thought I would defend David Moyes but his job was to do what was best for West Ham and dropping Hart was best for West Ham..Football and footballers again taking no responsibility for themselves.

What is this bullshit where families now come on the pitch at the end of the season, or like tonight with Atletico, when a team wins a cup final?

Fucking players' kids running around everywhere ... and those hideous, plastic players wives / girlfriends.

Just get off the pitch! Its not for you so stay in the stands where you belong!

It might have happened by now anyway ... but I put the blame for starting this with that that rat-faced cunnt Dennis Wise who took his baby up to lift the FA Cup  He should have been stripped of his medal for that!

Millions... ££££££

Post by RobG »

We received 142 million £ from the EPL last season.

That was only £7 less than City. We had two more televisied games than they did

Even West Brom got 94 million £

That’s a lot of redundancy payments. Or severeance payments if you prefer.

This is an Alice in Wonderland - football- world.

It cannot hold :|

Pitch invasions at the end of games, seems to happen a lot after play off semi finals. Obviously this only happens when the home team in the second leg go through...They run on, take selfies and goad the away fans..Hughly unfair on both teams, and away fans who are obviously disappointed.. Even more annoying is some of the teams play a season in front of half empty stadiums but the super fans come out of the woodwork at the sniff of glory..

past few ? - longer than that... that's why City loaned him out. if he's not good enough for City and West Ham, then he's not good enough for England.

I'm glad him and the other self entitled tossers are out of the England squad now. Hopefully Southgate is working his way towards making the England Team less of a cocktail bar and more of a football team.
