Btw one doesn't use punctuation marks to identify single words.

Me too :high5:

I asked the question in the match thread but no-one answered, so am I right in thinking that we played a 4-3-1-2 formation today ? In my opinion it is the ONLY formation that will suit ozil 8) It would also suit lacazette and bangbang, but wont suit mikki - another positive reason to go with that system :barscarf:

Agreed Augs. We should use the diamond and have Torreira at the base, Guendouzi and Ramsey either side and Ozil at the tip. Laca and Auba upfront.

Thought Ozil played well second half.

My preference is 4-3-1-2 not the diamond formation (4-1-2-1-2). I also believe that the ONLY position that ramsey or ozil can play is as a number 10 behind 2 strikers - ramsey would leave his midfield partners hanging out to dry if played in midfield, so I think that it has to be either ozil or ramsey in the team, and ozil would get the nod from me cos he is more creative imo

Think this would be for me as well. And in games where we are likely to be up against it then we have the option of bringing in Ramsey or Aubameyang playing a wider role.

We still lack decent wide options but that’s been the same for a while. In the last 8 years our wide options have been arshavin, Gervinho, podolski, Walcott, Iwobi etc. To be fair (and it’s rare I give him praise) I think Bellerin has been trying hard to get forward to offer some wide threat. He’s just not been doing it particularly well.

Ramsey is an 8 though, and he's at his best playing as an 8 rather than as 10. So would have him in one of the central positions and stick Ozil in the 10 position.

Ramsey is our Jimmy Milner with better scoring ability.
