Bar the odd nice pass or touch he has been mostly shit for two months. A top experienced manager would see that early on and rest him, let him recharge his batteries.... not just keep blindly playing him and watch him get worse every week ffs.

This ^^^. We've seen it before with Arteta. An experienced pragmatic manager does what needs to be done, not try and constantly be "clever" and blindly believe in his own genius.
