Re: weekend fixtures Aug 23/25

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A nice point for Brentford.

Pearce seems to have got Forest firing. I hope he does well there.
I hope Forest do well as I'd like them to come back up but in the ideal world they go on a 10match losing streak, that c**t with a huge chip on his shoulder gets the sack and someone else brings them into the league.
you don't like Stuart Pearce ???? - the guys a legend. a proper defender. Arsenal could do with a player like that since adams and keown left.

i think he was out of his depth a city and England though.
Pearce is a prick with a chip on his shoulder, he's inherited a decent team but his dinosaur tactics at England and Shitty will resurface don't you worry. Arsenal have had defenders that are as good if not better than that prick. Hopefully he'll get the sack when as I expect he f**ks things right up.

United with 1 point from their first two and sunlun had a chance to win it late on. Di Maria doesn't solve their core problems but rather is a luxury signing to placate the fans. This is going to be hilarious to watch.

Whatever the f**king loan fee is for Falcao,it's worth it.

Anyone who gets this guy, provide him with service and he will score goals.

He only had one chance in 45mins of Nantes v Monaco and they are 1-0. He makes Costa look like Giroud.

Good to see Sagna keeping the City bench nice and warm on those chilly Manchester nights

Nasri running the show tonight. Jovetic on fire. Good result for us if we're chasing for the virtual trophy again.

Shitty will thrash everybody concede little and win the league because they have Jovetic,Negredo, Aguero, whilst the chavs have Costa and granda Drogba. We don't compare and the victims have Sturridge and mad Mario. No offence to the victims but Lambert is not going to win you the league.

Hilarious that sub looks like damage limitation for Brenda.

Point still remains, he isn't Sheringham he won't win you the league, anyway Zabaletta's knee unfortunately takes the praise for the goal.
