Chelsea away - Official Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chelsea away - Official Match Thread

Post by Macca »

Me and my mate are going Saturday and we have tickets in row 4 lower and row 18 upper. Which seat is better do you think and can you move between tiers?

Have fun....just be happy u have a ticket as many don't. Upper or lower done both and have no real preference...but I guess atmosphere wise lower has tended to be better in the past.

And generally you won't be allowed to move between the two tiers for safety purposes.

Haha.

Well all I mean is, Chelsea are probably rattled after losing to QPR, and we are on the up so could see us winning. Maybe. I'm hoping.

As long as RVP plays and saves the day as per usual

Can't wait too, was upper tier right at the back last season , good news Drogba won't play because of red card.

Upper tier , right at the back you get a good view of the game , not as noisy/raucous as I imagine lower would be (going on Spurs away experiences), but I'm sure you'll enjoy it, especially if we get a result , which I believe we will with 'Your A Disgrace' being banned and RVP on fire.

Just because Dropga isn't playing , i think Torres and Mata will be more than a handful..Upper tier is good and you can move between tiers to go and see your friend.

Point was , Drogba always scores against us .
True , they'll be a handful and I don't think we'll be singing 'What a waste of money' or 'You'll never play for Arsenal' to Mata but I'm quietely confident.

The psychology of Drogba to this club is a big thing, its definitely evened up a bit.

Last year we beat them because we pressed them hard, the penny dropped, QPR did it yesterday and they lost their heads.

Arsenal win coming up.

my brother is a JCL chelsea fan so we have to win this one. can't stand him. i actually feel decent about it as we're on a good run of form. three points could be a massive boost for the teams confidence. come on Arsenal!
