I voted for Chris Kamara, just to get him off the tele.

We bought bielik for the job, he's not gonna get experience sitting in the reserves. Unfortunately, the 2 experienced players I'd chose are out injured. Wilshere and Rosicky are best equipped.

'Other'.
But with those choices, Arteta.

I can't believe people voted for Chambers after his shocking performance at CB vs pool. He was exposed for lacking in pace and positional awareness.RespectTheUmlaut wrote:'Other'.

As an alternative to the list, I would throw Gabriel into the mix. He has been very effective when he has been asked to do a job, can tackle is quick and seems perfect for the DM role if we don't have a suitable specialist to play the position.
That's assuming BFG and Kos are still first choice CB btw, but I can't help feeling that Gabriel and Kos will be the long term pairing.
Anyone remember when Keown played DM, was quite funny seeing him do step over's in the centre circle when the nearest opposing player was 10 yards away.

Unfortunately Arteta's legs have gone and he simply cannot keep up with the pace anymore. Captain Stupid offers nothing except arm waving, vigorous clapping and lots of yelling. So really, neither.
TBH Coq has done well but he should be back up to a better top class DM.
Go on pull my finger.....................................................................................................PARP!
Can he kick a water bottle or struggle with ze zip, though?
Re: [POLL] Who should be back-up to Coquelin?
Well we'll soon find out now won't we because surprise surprise now the window has closed he's out injured for a bit.....oh and Wilshere is out for months too. Another real shock.
So we will either see Ramsey backheeling his way through games in that position. Flamoney waving, pointing and lunging, or Arteta doing his absolute best but sadly a yard short of the required pace. Other options include Super Quality Bielik or perhaps Chambers can give another masterclass there like he did on New Year's Day at St Mary's
Still - not a single CDM arrived at London Colney with a "I'm Officially For Sale" note from his Chairman or Manager prior to deadline day, and our highly paid world scouting network were unable to unearth anybody better than any of the options above as they simply don't exist.

Well it looks like we are about to find out with Coquelin out 'for a short while' (AW) which can mean 1 month or 6 months...

He could always bring Denilson back!?

No chance - it would "kill" Coquelin.OneBardGooner wrote:

Oh, the irony.
