Lina Hurtig joins Fiorentina after Arsenal departure

Former Arsenal forward Lina Hurtig has joined Italian side Fiorentina following her departure from the Gunners.

Arsenal announced before the end of the season that Hurtig would leave the club along with Amanda Ilestedt and Teyah Goldie following the expiration of her contract.

Hurtig's final appearance came as a substitute in Arsenal's Champions League final win over Barcelona.

The 29-year-old joined the Gunners from Juventus in 2022, and returns to Serie A on a three-year deal through to July 2028.
