Arsenal Women beat Coventry United 4-0 at Meadow Park on Friday evening to reach the FA Cup semi-finals.

The visitors proved obdurate opponents during the first half until the lively Nikita Parris set up Stina Blackstenius who put the Gunners ahead on 37 minutes.

Dominant Arsenal doubled their lead through after the interval through substitute Beth Mead who swpet home to make it 2-0.

Jonas Eidevall's side made it 3-0 after a flowing move that saw Jordan Nobbs feed Katie McCabe whose low cross was turned in by Parris.

Despite a big week ahead with Wolfsburg at the Emirates in the Champions League on Wednesday and Spurs a week on Saturday, relentless Arsenal brought on Vivianne Miedema for the final 24 minutes.

The WSL’s all-time top scorer grabbed her side’s fourth with a low drive with the Gunners now one game from Wembley.
