Willian on brink of Arsenal move

Willian has confirmed his Chelsea departure as he closes in on a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The Brazilian confirmed his seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge was over and although he did not reveal his next destination, widespread reports suggest he is the brink of a free transfer to the Emirates.

Willian's signing is expected to be announced in the coming days.

Three stars offered in Partey discussions

Arsenal could offer one of three players in any deal to sign Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish journalist Kike Marin claims Alexandre Lacazette, Lucas Torreira and Hector Bellerin have all been mentioned by the Gunners in discussions to sign the Ghanian midfielder.

But, Atleti are insistent that Partey's £50 million release clause is met if he is to leave the Spanish capital.

Gunners chase French midfielder

Arsenal are interested in signing Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson this summer if reports in France are to be believed.

Le10 Sport claim the Gunners have joined Tottenham and West Ham United in the race for his signature after the club made contact with his representatives.

Arsenal are yet to hold official talks with Marseille about a potential move for the 25-year-old, despite keeping close tabs on his situation.

Ozil to be paid off?

The Mirror are reporting Arsenal could pay off Mesut Ozil's £18 million contract to get him off the books at the Emirates.

The Gunners are desperate to free up the German's £350,000-a-week wages and could rip up his contract - which has a year left to run - to do so.

Despite making their intentions to sell the 31-year-old clear, there have been no takers for the playmaker and the Gunners do not want to be burdened with his hefty wages for another 12 months.
