Arsenal Young Guns MLS & Nwaneri shortlisted for PFA Young Player of the Year award

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri have been nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year for 2024-25

The pair of talented young guns enjoyed outstanding breakthrough campaings, with Nwaneri grabbing nine goals across all competitions including the Premier League and the Champions League, while MLS was handed his first England call-up, earning three caps, and memorably scoring on his debut against Latvia. 

The club have had success in this award over the. last few years, with Bukayo Saka winning in 2022-23 as well as being nominated in 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2023-24.

Declan Rice has been nominated for the PFA's Players' Player of the Year award, but faces still competition from Premier Leageu winner and top scorer Mo Salah

This year’s awards will be held at Manchester Opera House on Tuesday, August 19.
