A very busy summer has just come to an end for Arsenal, and we can now get our breath back over the international break and focus fully on the actual football. 

We remained active in both ins and outs right to the final seconds and today our eighth and final signing, Piero Hincapie arrived on an initial loan with an option to buy next summer for a reported £45 million pounds.

The Ecuador international can play at both centre back and left back making him another welcome addition to our already formidable defence. 

Arsenal Exits

There were also some movement in terms of outgoings.

Firstly, Albert Sambi Lokonga has joined Hamburg with Fabio Vieira joining him on loan.

It seems to be unclear whether there is an option to buy the former Porto man and various sources have cited a fee in the region of £20 million.

Fabio Vieria has joined SV Hamburg on a season long loan

Jakub Kiwior has joined Porto again on loan and it’s believed there is an option for the Portuguese giants to buy the Pole for around £25 million.

He will mostly be remembered for his excellent performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season.
