Arsenal's PSG ticketing for Parc de Princes freezes out loyal travelling Gooners
Read the view of Arsenal's ticketing for PSG from an anonymous loyal Gooner who travels to every game
Loyal, match going fans who go week-in, week-out are being pushed out by the club - it's evident says an anonymous Gooner.
Loyalty in football is getting pushed out.
Years and years us match going fans have spent our time, money and dedication following this football club - and what do we all get back in return?
Its evident that this club doesnt love, or care about us anywhere near as much as we do them.
PSG away tickets really sealed the deal on that one.
The scramble for tickets for a European semi-final of course isn’t great but they are still more than doable right?
Well that's what most of us match fans thought...!
However, many tickets were available for those to buy starting at 70+ credits. 70 PLUS.
That is stupidly high.
To make matters worst if you’re sat there on 55 credits you weren't even guaranteed a ticket for that game, as it sold out at that point.
As for the remainder of away tickets, it looks like box holders and sponsorships/friends and family have them.
Of course box holders are entitled to them - but tell me how these tickets are meant to be collected in Paris, which by all means can be a bit on the scary side at times, be beneficial to us fans?
To stop ticket touting they’ll argue, but you’re telling me some people won't collect tickets and then tout them? Hmm think about that one Arsenal.
There are fans sat with 55 credits - which wasn’t deemed enough to see our team in a first European semi-final in the Champions League for 19 years. Which is not right from the club.
Pushing out genuine match going fans makes me sick to my stomach, week in week out we are there cheering on the team and Mikel Arteta, through the highs and the lows, but now people wanna get involved and see The Arsenal in a semi-final?
There is no doubt in my mind that loyal, match going fans who are there, week-in, week-out are being pushed out by the club - it's evident.
The club want those ‘day outters’ to come to games, spend a fortune on club merch and buy food and drinks.
Has it even entailed to the club that good form most likely means fans spend the money at the ground? Do they realise season ticket holders could also spend money?
Apparently not.
Mikel and the lads need us fans there making as much noise as we can on Wednesday, but unfortunately there won't be as many as there should be - while regulars who did manage to get a ticket will probably be looking around that away end not recognising a face.
Biggest game in our history for 19 years and the club have ruined it.
Shame on those repsonsible for ticketing at Arsenal.
