Reports: London City Lionesses make formal offer for Arsenal's Beth Mead

Newly-promoted side London City Lionesses have made a formal offer for Arsenal winger Beth Mead.

Sky Sports have reported that the Gunners have been approached London City for the England international, and that only a significant offer would see Arsenal considering selling Mead.

The 30-year-old last signed a contract with the Gunners in December 2022, penning a multi-year deal.

Mead featured in England's successful Euro 2025 campaign, having starred in the Lionesses' 2022 glory.

The forward has been with Arsenal since 2017, making 232 appearances. Mead set up Stina Blackstenius' decisive goal in the 2025 Champions League final win over Barcelona.
