Arsenal have been rebuilding after a tumultuous period that saw them miss out on the European Champions League, and the Europa League for the first time in more than two decades.

The 2021-22 season was set to be a turning point for Mikel Arteta’s side, but the start was disappointing, losing their first three league matches of the season, leading fans to start calling for a change in management.

However, a swift turnaround meant the London side would go 12 matches unbeaten, moving out of the relegation zone, and into the top five, becoming instant favourites to make the top four with online betting South Africa. Behind the performances was a team of youngsters from Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Martin Odegaard, and Gabriel Martinelli.

So far, Arsenal have scored 33 league goals, conceding 25, and currently occupy position six

with 36 points, from 21 matches.

We look at Arsenal’s top scorers so far in the Premier League, and what to expect at the end of the season.

Emile Smith Rowe - 8 goals

It is no surprise the young England midfielder is top of the Arsenal scoring charts. He has

enjoyed a promising start to the season under Mikel Arteta, and looks to be repaying the faith of his boss

The young prospect has many playing years ahead of him, and if he can keep his head down,

there is certainly a bright future for him. He is currently placed eighth overall in the EPL top scorers chart.

Bukayo Saka - 6 goals

Another young player who is performing at the highest level is Bukayo Saka. It is safe to say that he is currently the most important player for Arteta, as shown by his recent performances.

Over the last couple of seasons, his performances saw him become a regular starter for the England national team.

With former captain Aubameyang now departed for Barcelona, Saka has some weight on his

shoulders, and from what we are seeing, he is up to the task

Gabriel Martinelli – 4 goals

The young Brazilian is enjoying life at the Emirates, under the stewardship of Mikel Arteta. He has played as a winger and as a striker on several occasions, and his potential is evident.

Despite some minor flashes of naivety in his play, there is everything to believe that the young striker is destined for greatness.

He recently got a pat of confidence from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after an impressive

performance in the Carabao Cup.

Martin Odegaard – 4 league goals

The former Real Madrid midfielder may not have scored since December 2021, but if he remains fit, there is a lot to expect from the young Norwegian. He has outscored Alexandre Lacazette who has three goals this season.

Alexandre Lacazette – 3 league goals

The Frenchman has been confirmed as Arsenal captain until the end of the season, with speculation rising about his future. With Aubameyang gone, there should be more playing time for Laca – and hopefully more goals.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 4 league goals

The striker forced a move to Barcelona at the end of the January transfer window
