Player Ratings: Arsenal U23 3-1 Chelsea U23 as Salah shines for victorious young guns

Arsenal U23s beat Chelsea U23s 3-1 after an entertaining Premier League 2 match at Boreham Wood on Friday evening. 

At a chilly Meadow Park the young guns came back from a goal down to beat their west London rivals in a game that featured two exceptional goals.

Jayden Wareham gave Chelsea the lead midway through the first half before Zach Awe equalised shortly afterwards.

The impressive Salah made it 2-1 following the break after displaying quick feet before unleashing a low shot that flew past Chelsea keeper Lucas Bergstrom and into the bottom corner.

Omari Hutchinson sealed a well-earned victory after a driving ended with a powerful shot to make it 3-1 wiuth moments remaining.

Mazeed Ogungbo: 7.5 - Intelligent and powerful  

Alex Kirk: 7.5 - The youngster from Hitchin is improving every game he plays. Solid and dependable. Read the game well

Zak Swanson: 7.5 - Always relishes the battle and never disappoints

Jack Henry-Francis: 7.5 - Put in a shift 

Salah Oulad M'Hand: 8.5 - Outstanding. Player of the match. Sharp, creative and deadly. Showed wonderful quick feet prior to his goal. A shame there aren't any more first team cup games this season because the talented attacker deserves a first team bow between now and the end of the season. On this form, he may well appear for Mikel Arteta's side regardless

Omari Hutchinson: 8 - Cracking late goal

Mika Biereth: 8 - A selfless forward full of running. Never let the Chelsea backline settle. One to watch 

Miguel Azeez: 7.5 - Returned from his loan spell at Portsmouth with plenty more experience
