Arsenal Women will sign versatile defender Taylor Hinds on a free transfer upon her contract expiring with Liverpool, The Guardian reports.
Hinds, who is predominantly a left-back but can play on either side of defence, will bolster Arsenal’s defensive options.
Full-backs Katie McCabe and Emily Fox missed just three league games between them in 2024/25, with the signing of Hinds set to help reduce their workload.
26-year-old Hinds spent five years at Liverpool after two seasons with their Merseyside rivals Everton. Hinds joined the Blues from Arsenal along with fellow Chloe Kelly.
The Jamaica international was scouted by Arsenal during her time with Northampton Town and joined the Gunners’ academy, making her debut in 2017.
The Telegraph’s Kathryn Batte also reports that Arsenal have also accepted bids for academy graduate Freya Godfrey from WSL sides Aston Villa and London City Lionesses.
Godfrey spent the second half of last season on loan with London City, helping them achieve promotion to the WSL. Multiple clubs are interested in the England Under-23 international.
