I’m not sure Allegri would neccessarily turn it down. Could be a nice project for him. It must be possible to play a more contained system allowing pressing. Arsenal’s stats are completely horrible with every indicator for Dick over 25 games worse than Wenger’s last 25 games. Apparently we are also 19th for pressing . Looks like Dick simply is unable to activate his ideas even if they are workable. The problem will be he knows this is his last big job ( back to mid table Spain ) so he may just try and go more and more reliant on the coward Xhaka and go knows why. Having said all that, we’ll probably dish out 10 wins on the trot lol

OK, I get it - Dick is now a dead man walking but WHO ELSE?! I just don't see Allegri coming, Arteta staying at City ( good) & I don't see any other AFC "old boy" being good or experienced enough. So do we go for Dyche then ? I agree that it looks as if Dick's failure to master basic english will probably have done for him.

As I write Man City are 5-0 up at halftime against Watford. The same Watford who outplayed us and should have beaten us on Sunday. Enough said.
