Unai-requited Love: A Poem To #Arseteta

Inspired by Saturday’s game at Selhurst Park…

Arteta : Hair non-negotiable

Unai-requited Love: A Poem To #Arseteta

For Mikel

My daring bronze cowboy
With hair non-negotiable

Clint glint
All stare and stubble

Aesthetically intimidated
Our bandits in trouble

Gunslingers
Rodeo Croydon-bound
@ The Selhurst Saloon

Southern-folk recluse there
Glad all over
Drums barely in tune

New stamina stallions
The truest of grit
Submissive early spread-Eagles
Showed Freudian slit

Alas
A quick fix
A quick draw
And a valuable point

Broken in broncos
That don’t look disjoint

One all
But no worry
No favour to curry

They’re just wranglers
And rustlers
A paradox Palace of small time hustlers

So the Sheriff’s in jail
Leaving deputy Granit
A sizeable bounty
Will he actually man it?

Coy fouls; gold
Roy’s an owl; old

This creeping cynic side
This boner-fide point ride
Get me bloody hog-tied!

We’re hard again

Arteta and his turtleneck

I’m hard again

Everyone’s favourite billionaire is back on the scene, Aliko Dangote is saying he’ll be buying Arsenal., First issue is Wiggy might not want to sell. Secondly I think part of deal is we need to club together pay £1 million to release funds with immediate effect !
