The future of Buyako Saka is set to be resolved with the teenage sensation reported to be 'close' signing a new long-term contract with the club.

With David Luiz, Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares alll putting pen to paper on new deals, fans will be delighted to learn that Saka, of the club's standout performers this season, is now close to committing his future to Arsenal.

Head coach Mikel Arteta said: 'I am very positive that everything is going to be done with Bukayo very shortly.'

Saka has just a year left on his current deal worth around £3,000 per week with big name suitors Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich circling the Ealing-born 18-year-old.

Progress with Saka's contract talks had slowed during lockdown but Arsenal have ramped up their efforts again to tie down Saka on a long-term deal while rewarding his career's stunning upward trajectory - with the England U19 star impressing down the left flank for the north Londoners during this campaign.

It is understood only a few small details need to be finalised before Saka's long-term future at Arsenal is sealed.

Arsenal have been in talks over a new deal for versatile academy product Saka, 18, one of their standout performers this season, for some time.
