Save The Gooner Fanzine - this time for a generation: Sign up to our annual direct debit

We will be forced to stop printing this fanzine at the end of the season if we don’t act now.

No matchday supporters to sell to for a whole year and more has hit us hard. In fact it’s crippled us.

We need your help to Save the Gooner Fanzine. But this time for a generation.

We are now taking renewals for next season. To save having to ask you every spring for your help we are asking if you would be willing to sign up for the longer-term by using direct debit in the form of our PayPal subscription service (you can use this even if you do not have a PayPal account by using a debit or credit card and checking out as a guest).

All we need you to do is this:

Renew your subscription by May 1 for the 2021-22 season. You can do this by subscribing through our PayPal subscription service, which will then roll-over every season.

It costs £30 for UK residents and £49 for the rest of the world.

UK SUBSCRIPTION

OVERSEAS (NON-UK) SUBSCRIPTION

Not only does this mean you don’t have to go through the renewal process every year, it should mean – if enough commit this way – that The Gooner can continue for many years without the annual concern over whether or not enough subscriptions can be raised.

Please consider signing up for this – it takes the same amount of time as doing a simple one-year subscription and means you will never have to do it again.

We would urge you to sign up via our PayPal subscription service - which would be deducted annually from your PayPal account or debit / credit card as long as The Gooner continues - to ensure the long-term survival of the fanzine.

It’s important to note that should you ever wish to stop supporting The Gooner then you have the freedom to cancel at any time and no further payments would be taken from your card.

Subscribe here for the long-term, starting with the 2021-22 season

However, while it would be great if you signed up for the longer term, we do understand if you don’t wish to commit to more than one season - so we are also accepting single season renewals using direct PayPal payments or a cheque.

Subscribe for the 2021-22 season only

https://shop.onlinegooner.com/index.php/cPath/30 and choose the option for UK residents or overseas.

For cheque payments, please make cheques payable to The Gooner and send to: Gooner Fanzine, 2nd Floor, 99 Bancroft, Hitchin, Herts, SG5 1NQ.

It’s as simple as that.

Whether you commit to direct debit or just next season, it will only take a few minutes out of your day and for the cost of a few drinks you will help secure the Gooner Fanzine’s future - for the long-term if you select the direct debit option.

I'm so glad the gooner has been saved and will continue to be printed, as a traditionalist there's nothing like reading it in paper back form, well done all.
