Arsenal U21 Player Ratings:
Tommy Setford: 7/10 - Two early goals put the 19-year-old Netherlands-born keeper on the back foot but showed his quality when showing anticipation and strong hands to block a stinging shot after the interval
Josh Nichols – 6.5/10 - A big season ahead for the right-back who has already featured for Mikel Arteta’s first team
Marcel Yamani Washington: 6.5/10 - Showed an excellent turn of pace at times, offensively and defensively
Marli Salmon: 6.5/10 - Showed promise towards the end of last term, and deservedly earned a call-up to the Asia tour, as well as his first-pro deal. Displayed good strength to carry the ball out of defence despite being harried
Maldini Kacurri: 6.5/10 – A thundering presence, especially when powering forward to bring the ball out of defence. Replaced by No12 Brayden Clarke on the hour mark
Harrison Dudziak (c): 6/10 - Good technique but needs to be more careful with possession especially in tight spots after ceding the ball too easily in his important No6 position
Ismeal Kabia: 7/10 - The tricky No7 with first team experience fired narrowly wide after working space in the box on the half hour but soon showed his quality by firing home from close range to level at 2-2
Louie Copley: 6/10 - Not his most influential match considering his undoubted talent, spending most of it with his back to goal, before giving way to Ifeoluwa Ibrahim on 72 minutes
Andre Harriman-Annous: 5/10 - Another who has deservedly earned a pro-deal – and another with a big season ahead of him. Needs to show more strength when dealing with obdurate defenders
Demiane Agustien: 6/10 -Showed glimpses of vision and creativity despite being marked closely
Charles Sagoe Jnr: 6.5/10 - Pulled a goal back with an emphatic finish in the box
Substitutes:
Brayden Clarke: 5/10 - Switched with Kacurri on 60 minutes and promptly booked for scything down a Fulham forward leaving referee referee Richard Eley no choice but to award a free-kick to the visitors in a dangerous area. Wasteful in possession too but will be better for the experience
Ifeoluwa Ibrahim: 5/10 - On for Copley with 18 minutes remaining
