Full time: West Ham 1-5 Arsenal!
90+3' Russo steps up, and scores! 1-5 and it's a brace for the England star.
90+2' Arsenal have a penalty after Smith is fouled! 1-4
90' Goal! Alessia Russo with a thunderbolt and that caps a brilliant evening for a brilliant all-round striker. What a performance. 1-4
88' Catley is replaced after colliding with the brick advertising boards a few moments ago- she's ok to jog off and looks fine. Wubben-Moy comes on. 1-3
84' Arsenal defend well before the referee blows for a high foot on Smith. Fox gets a telling off from Aaron D'Antino for her seemingly poor marking there. 1-3
83' Shouts from the crowd for handball against Steph Catley come to nothing as West Ham try to find something. van Domselaar takes no risks at her near post dealing with a cross and concedes a corner. 1-3
79' Pelova and Hinds replace Mariona and McCabe. 1-3
75' Smith tries to replicate last week's worldie but her effort is high, wide and not handsome. Pavi comes on for West Ham to replace Nystrom. 1-3
71' Frustration from Gorry and the home fans as the Australian midfielder launches a raking ball into the penalty area but no one is in sight to meet it. 1-3
65' Changes now for West Ham as Belloumou and Piubel are introduced. 1-3
64' Caitlin Foord is the goalscorer, from Mariona's cross. 1-3
63' Olivia Smith replaces Beth Mead. 1-3
63' Goal! Arsenal double their advantage and Reid is credited with the goal, although I thought it was Mariona. A header anyway. 1-3
59' Foord bursts away down the left with a real injection of pace, and crosses for Mead, who just opens her foot up too much and diverts the ball wide. 1-2
57' Mariona really pushing forward now, more of a 4-1-4-1 with Little the holding midfielder and Russo, Mariona both in the 10s. 1-2
55' Goal, but the flag is up! Boos from the away end as Foord thought she had doubled Arsenal's lead. 1-2
53' Goal! Blackstenius puts Arsenal in front with a composed finish inside the box! 2-1
52' Russo heads wide from Mariona's cross- difficult angle. 1-1
48' Great sliding tackle by Mead up high before Little's cross is headed away. 1-1
46' The second half is underway. 1-1
Blackstenius replaces goalscorer Maanum.
Stina Blackstenius warming up on her own with a coach at half-time, looks like she'll be coming on.
Arsenal really only got into the game after a well-worked equaliser, after a torrid start in the Dagenham rain. The Gunners have not tested Megan Walsh enough, considering the conditions.
45+4' Another excellent move as Foord's pass is flicked on by Russo and Maanum's low shot deflected wide. That'll be half time.
Manchester City 0-1 Brighton at half time elsewhere.
45+1' Three minutes added on. 1-1
45' Lovely one-touch passing from Arsenal down the left side and Foord cuts inside past two defenders but her shot is too tame, and saved by Walsh. 1-1
42' McCabe has the chance to launch a throw into the box but goes short to Maanum. An early cross from Mariona is claimed well by Walsh. 1-1
41' Mead will be able to continue. 1-1
39' Mead is down after a collision on the far touchline and the physios are on. Both hands are on her head as the two sides take a drinks break. 1-1
36' West Ham haven't created much since Maanum drew Arsenal level and both sides are finding it difficult to hold onto the ball. Arsenal's press certainly hasn't worked as they'd have liked. 1-1
33' Fox goes sliding down after shielding the ball behind under pressure from Ueki- could have been a nasty landing but she's ok. Arsenal's 850 supporters are in good voice. 1-1
27' Now Maanum plays through Russo in the left side of the box. It's worked back to Mariona but West Ham deal with it well. 1-1
25' Mead's cross is just slightly over-hit and behind for a goal kick. This has been better from Arsenal. 1-1
22' Three assists already this season for Beth Mead, who came on as a sub last time out! 1-1
22' Goal! Mead slips the ball through to Maanum and Arsenal are level! 1-1
19' Excellent drive from McCabe and her pass splits two defenders, with Russo winning a corner. It's worked short and Mariona's curling effort is narrowly over. 1-0
18' The corner is dealt with before Maanum's high ball in flies over the bar. 1-0
15' Maanum slides through Russo but Tysiak comes across to defend well, before blocking the Norwegian's low cross behind for a corner. 1-0
12' Excellent pressure from Siren to win the ball back off McCabe as West Ham continue to push forward. Arsenal have really struggled. 1-0
8' Arsenal fail to threaten with a couple of corners as the rain really starts to hammer down. See what I did there? 1-0
6' Goal! van Domselaar fumbles a cross from the right into her own net and the home side lead! 1-0
2' It is indeed a back five for the Irons. Mariona flicks the ball forward and Russo loses her footing as she tries to get a shot away. 0-0
1' Underway! West Ham kick for touch, as is the new-fangled rugby style kick-off routine. 0-0
West Ham in their usual home colours.
Here come the teams! Arsenal in their third kit for the first time, it's a beauty. Far too pricey though, but what isn't...
It's started to rain again, and there have been a couple of torrential downpours already in East London today, but the pitch looks in decent condition.
Bubbles are blowing here in Dagenham (West Ham haven't played at London Stadium since 2019)- a couple have hit my laptop. The teams are in the tunnel.
Arsenal did the double over West Ham last season, winning 2-0 away from home in Renée Slegers' first WSL game as interim manager, before a thrilling 4-3 comeback in February.
These two sides met in pre-season at the end of last month, with Maanum also coming off the bench and scoring twice in a pretty close affair at Meadow Park.
Arsenal began the season with a 4-1 win over London City Lionesses, coming from behind after Kosovare Asllani's penalty. Olivia Smith, Chloe Kelly and substitutes Stina Blackstenius & Frida Maanum were all on the scoresheet.
Could be a back four or five for the hosts- I reckon a five. Plenty of attacking threat with the likes of Martinez, Asseyi and Ueki- pace and physicality.
West Ham subs: O'Handlon, Endo, Belloumou, Pavi, Csiki, Brasero, Morgan, Wandeler, Piubel.
West Ham: Walsh; Tysiak, Nystrom, Zadorsky, Denton; Siren, Gorry, Hanshaw; Ueki, Martinez, Asseyi.
Three changes for the Gunners- Chloe Kelly has a knock so drops out and is replaced by Beth Mead, whilst Olivia Smith drops to the bench, as does Victoria Pelova. Caitlin Foord and Frida Maanum come in.
Substitutes: Zinsberger, Borbe, Wubben-Moy, Codina, Smith, Pelova, Hinds, Blackstenius, Cooney-Cross.
Arsenal: van Domselaar, Fox, Reid, Catley, McCabe, Little, Mariona, Maanum, Mead, Foord, Russo.
