Mariona Caldentey comes second in the Women's Ballon d'Or 2025

Aitana Bonmati won the award, but where did the Arsenal players place?




Mariona Caldentey placed second in the 2025 Women’s Ballon d’Or this evening, with the award going the way of her Spanish teammate Aitana Bonmati.

Alessia Russo placed third, Chloe Kelly placed fifth, and Leah Williamson placed seventh. 

Earlier today, it was announced that Steph Catley came 29th, Frida Maanum in 27th and Emily Fox in 25th. 

In the Women’s Yachine Trophy, Daphne van Domselaar placed fifth, and in the Women’s Kopa Trophy, Michelle Agyemang, who is currently on loan with Brighton, placed fourth.

The biggest success of the evening came when Arsenal Women were named Club of the Year, an award that will be celebrated greatly amongst AWFC fans.
